thx for the invite ;)

I have recently been interested in the Alkaline Diet..meaning that I try to buy and eat Alkaline foods 80% vrs Acid foods 20%.

Using some Healthy eating books I noticed there are charts out there that do list what foods are assimilated Alkaline (some depending how it is prepared). For example Tomato raw is Alkaline, cooked Tomato turns to Acid.

My prob is that I cant seem to get enouph information, just little bits n peices.

Are there any Books out there with Solid Extensive lists of Alkaline Foods, charts and such??

HOW DO YOU MEASURE THE pH OF THE BODY? (in the blood, tissues and fluids of the body) HOW ACCURATE, REALLY, IS IT in regard to THE pH PAPER? HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO BE TAKING SPECIFIC READINGS VS. GETTING TO KNOW OUR BODIES BETTER? WHAT SIGNALS CAN WE TELL WITHOUT USING A FORM OF pH PAPER?

The best way to measure pH is to set up an appointment with your doctor and ask them to do a urine analysis as well as a blood analysis. You want him/her to measure the fasting pH of your blood and urine. You can use litmus paper and get a general indication of where the pH of the urine is. The saliva pH is too variable and unpredictable. The saliva pH will vary depending on not only what you are eating, but the emotions for that day can affect it as well. That is true to a certain extent with the urine, emotions do impact the pH of the fluids of our body.

The time to test the pH is in the morning, the first morning urine. Take a strip of the pH paper and wet it. That would be a good indicator of what is happening inside your body as it pertains to the internal pH. It is just an estimate. If the paper does not change color, that indicates a highly acidic body. It should change color. If it is too much color (dark blue), that also indicates highly acidic. Balanced pH of urine should be 6.8-7.2. (medium green) Saliva, too, should be between 6.8-7.2

The pH of the blood should not vary more than a few tenths either way from the 7.36.

These tests that the doctor will do sometimes take 2-4 weeks to get back. You have to ask for the pH of the blood though.

If the pH in the blood is higher than 7,365 that indicates acid in the tissue. If it is lower than 7.365 that indicates acids of the fluids of the body. They both indicate acidity, but one is more serious than the other. If it is lower than the 7.365 that is more serious than if it is higher. Anything higher than the 7.365 indicates that the body is in the preservation mode, it is trying to protect the fluids of the body and that is why the pH goes up.

Example: An email sent to Dr Young brought out that after this person smoked marijuana that the pH strip showed his saliva to be highly alkaline, so he figures that marijuana must therefore be good for you. Response? Do not misunderstand, the body is reacting to the acidic aspects of the marijuana, it is overcompensating, it is in preservation mode. You just poisoned yourself with the marijuana and it is overreacting to the acids that you just took into your body and therefore the pH is going up. Marijuana is NOT alkalizing!

We want to strive for BALANCE.

Using litmus paper, keep in mind this is just an indication, not absolute reality. It is an indication of the moment, that particular time.

You want to make sure that you are getting the medium green (not dark or light or clear). Anything but medium green indicates levels of acidosis either in the tissues or the fluids of the body. The illusion here as it pertains to current medical science is that the body can go into states of alkalosis. The only time the body goes into states of alkalosis is when the body is in a state of acidosis. The body has the unbelievable ability to go into preservation mode to protect itself against OUR life choices!!!

WILL THE SUPERSOY SPROUTS CONTRIBUTE TO DISORGANIZATION AT A HORMONAL LEVEL? HOW WILL IT AFFECT THE LEVELS OF PROGESTERONE FOR EXAMPLE? WHAT DO SUPERSOY SPROUTS PROVIDE THE BODY?

We need to be very clear of this, soy sprouts is an alkaline food. It does NOT create excess acidity in the body and is extremely helpful to the body. All today's studies have been done on processed soy or the legume which are acidic in the first place.

Soy sprouts are all-natural and whole. They are processed in a low-heat dehydration to preserve its life force. (88 degrees Fahrenheit) You don't only receive the mineral benefits, but also the electro-magnetic benefits as well that is carried in the life force of those organic sprouts.

As it relates to soy sprouts phyto-chemicals, scientist haven't even come close to identifying all the wonderful phyto-chemicals, not only in soy sprouts, but any food! Hundreds of thousands of phyto-chemicals that may be contained in one single sprout have yet to be identified. Some of these are isolated as in the case when we take a soy protein out and get a soy isolate (this is a way that we can get protein) This is not the way we should be getting our protein. We should be getting our protein from whole foods, not isolated portions of foods!

As it relates to hormones, we don't isolate the hormones. Being in the hormone business is a very risky business. Taking hormones is a very risky business! Most people and doctors don't understand it. It is best, here again, to allow the body to find its natural needs through eating whole organic foods. Let it pull from the food what it needs! Rather than trying to provide progesterone, estrogen or testosterone through traditional methods, try coming into balance and incorporating soy sprouts. It is a fact, the isoflavones, particularly the phyto-estrogens, that are contained as one of the phyto-chemicals of maybe hundreds of thousands of phyto-chemicals in SuperSoy Sprouts has been studied and is not harmful to the body, it is just the reverse!

Bottom line is that the phyto-estrogens in soy is like someone taking key and put it into a lock door and then breaking the key off so that it cannot be opened. There are receptor sites on cells. These phyto-estrogens fill up the receptor sites and as if we have broken off the key, they throw out the estrogen's that play havoc at the cellular level. Thus protecting the cell from cancer, not creating cancer.

Everyone has their own position on soy. But if you read carefully any of the research out there you will have yet to see any research that substantiates that the organic, spouted soy is not healthy to the body! If you start isolating things out of that soy, it is a whole different story! This has not been done to the SuperSoy Sprouts! You cannot pull things out of context and then study them and then suspect that when we put it back into the whole that it is going to perform the same way!!!

What we have here is the beautiful concept of synergism. Where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. We don't isolate the proteins, we don't isolate the isoflavones. The body then can decide what it needs and then use it!

Again this product is a whole, organic food, it is processed in a way that protects the zeta potential, or life force of this food. You actually derive the full value, the full benefit of this highly energized food. It is like recharging your body, it is like plugging yourself in to life.

WHAT DOES THE SOY CONTRIBUTES TO THE BODY?

The star isoflavone in soy is genestein. Genestein is wonderful for the male and female reproductive organs. It protects by not only maintaining the integrity of the fluids, but also helps minimize excess acidity that may be held in that particular area of the body. For males it helps protect the prostate. For females it helps to protect the breasts, uterus and ovaries. It protects the whole body!

You will get 41% protein. All the 8 essential aminos are there! There is more protein by volume than beef, chicken, pork and eggs without all the morbid bacteria that are contained in the tissue of a lot of these animals proteins. This is the best source of protein that you can put into your body!!! Compare 41% protein to that of filthy eggs (full of bacteria! If you want to filthy up your inner environment than by all means eat an egg. 37,500,000 pathological bacterial forms found in an egg, activating the immune system. We are tired after eating this because our immune system now has to clean up what we have ingested) The soy sprouts is not the problem, it is a superior, clean source of protein.

It is in a 30-1 concentration, 41% protein. All of the minerals, vitamins, proteins, and isoflavones are totally intact allowing the body to decide what it needs and then drawing from synergistic formulation. Our body knows better than us what it needs. Our body can then utilize the food in a very appropriate way.

That is why it is one of the four products found in the Foundational Pack! It is foundational for good help, providing the foundational elements that the body needs to help maintain the integrity of the human cell and its environment that it lives in.

Dr. Young is using the SuperSoy Sprouts successfully in the reversal of diabetes! They are using this product to help maintain balanced sugar levels in the blood. When the blood sugar levels are high or when they are low, people are taking this to help balance this out and it is working! Dr. Young is using the SuperGreens to help balance the sugar levels also. These are foundational products that help maintain integrity and help balance our blood glucose and also our insulin levels to help take stress off of the pancreas which is one of the most important organs of the endocrine system. Literally the squirt gun that has to shoot bicarbonate on the food coming out of the stomach to re-alkalize it into an environment that should have a pH of approx. 8.2. Now that food can be biologically transmutated into foundational cells which build our blood which build every cell in the human body. When we take stress off of the pancreas, then we take stress off the adrenals. When we take stress off the adrenals, we take stress off the thyroid. These three organs are affected as we try to maintain our energy levels. These are in the forefront of this process. Eat the proper foods, alkalize through high pH water, and take the proper supplements and participate in assisting our body do its job. Then we are going to start building good blood and when we build good blood we will start building healthy cells.

The target products will help support those glands and those vital organs that we have pushed over the limit and bring them back into balance. There is so many incredible organs that we have that need be functioning optimally! Anyone can benefit from taking say, an adrenal plus or a lymphatic plus to help support these organs. Even if we think we are in balance, it is good to enhance these organs. Do the target products cure anything? No they don't cure anything, they support this whole philosophy of alkalizing and energizing and bringing the body back into balance. They help to provide an environment that is conducive to that!

All of our organs are connected together, they work together in synergy. So when we throw everything off kilter, we need to create a level of priority in putting things back together!

Dr Young's research on the endocrine system is consistent. Here we have several organs which incorporate the pituitary, they hypothalamus, the thyroid, the parathyroid, the adrenals, the ovaries/testes and of course the pancreas. All of these glands are trying to maintain integrity and alkalinity of the internal fluids of the body, trying to maintain homeostasis. That is its main purpose! Most people's endocrine systems are whacked out!!! Most people's way of handling this is to take things out, like our thyroid, as if that is gonna solve some problem. The problem really comes down to What in God's name are you putting in your mouth? What in heaven's name are you putting into your minds? When you start evaluating that, then you can realize why the endocrine system is so whacked out!

Today the FDA is saying tongue in cheek that over a dozen antidepressants today lead to symptoms more serious than the depression itself, even suicide. Antidepressants are NOT going to pull you out of your depression! Do you think they will balance your endocrine system as you are piling sugar down your throat? Using ice cream and donuts and food from every acid shop on the corner? Now McDonalds has gotten rid of the SuperSize products, why don't they just get rid of the whole menu that they are serving.

The real responsibility comes down to ourselves!!! We do NOT have to go to these acid shops such as McDonalds, Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts and so on. We don't have to participate in these types of things if we CHOOSE not to, DECIDE not to. This is not McDonald's responsibility, it is ours. We need to empower ourselves to take responsibility for our own internal environment and in turn to help our loved ones as well.

The mission of Innerlight is not about curing disease, it is about PREVENTION!!! Preventing this excess acidity that leads to depression, that leads to anxiety, that leads to endocrine stress, that leads to diabetes, that leads to obesity, that leads to hypercholesterolemia, that leads to heart disease and the list goes on and on... Stop the madness!!! It starts with YOU! You decide when the madness is going to stop!!! You make a decision to stop polluting yourself, you go to your refrigerator and your cupboards and you are gonna throw these things out. You are making a conscious decision that not only are you not going to defile your personal temple, but also the temple that houses all of this. Take control of your life!

Only you can determine your level of happiness and joy. Personal choice. If you want to look, feel, think, and do better, than it is up to YOU!!! Or you can choose to do cancer, diabetes, and depression. Break the cycle! Plug yourself into life!!! When you are ready to make that decision, then and only then will you start making better choices! Until then you will continue to look at excuses.

Remember: It is not about the cell, it is all about the environment. When we improve the integrity of the environment, we improve the quality of our health and life.

No treatments necessary folks, it is not about that. Leave that to someone else. The cell is the bottom line, it is only as healthy as the fluids in which it bathes in. YOU are only as healthy as the environment that you are in. If you find yourself in a bar or a Starbucks, these environments are creating an environment within that are creating the symptoms you are trying to get rid of in the first place! Break the pattern.

Most people know that coffee is acidic, no one would argue that. Still it is an addiction of most America. They are slaves to it. They can't get up and get going without it. That is a sorry state. Things have gotta change! Or we as a human race will find ourselves extinct! We are gonna kill ourselves from the inside out, not from the outside in!

Start cleaning up your lives, clean up your environment (both external and internal). Then when we teach our children these principles, they will govern themselves. You cannot expect them to govern themselves appropriately when you are not walking your talk and talking your walk. Lead by example and begin with yourself.

STOP DOING SICK AND TIRED. YOU HAVE THE CHOICE. CHOOSE ENERGY AND VITALITY.

...Or you can choose living your life in pain.

The products are just vehicles to help drive you there! They work.

Replenish yourself with good fuel from quality fuels found in the SuperGreens, SuperSoy Sprouts, whole organic foods and high pH water. (Good fats/Earth Essence ...)

CAN YOU TAKE TOO MUCH SUPERGREENS? (one woman lost count she did so many)

No you can't. You can't get too much light into your body!!! That light is held by that light collector, the inner molecule of chlorophyll. When you lose count of how many liters you are drinking you are in the zone!!! You are plugging yourself into life! You are no longer using your intellectual mind, you are not using your right brain, you are in the zone. Some people talk about the euphoria of the zone, same thing happens when you connect yourself to SuperGreens. You go into a zone.

When you decide plug yourself into life, when you make a choice to discontinue your acid lifestyle and diet, is there pain associated to that? Is there withdrawal associated with that? Of course, if there is a sliver in your finger and you have to pull it out is there pain? You will minimize the pain if you begin the process of hydration, begin a liquid feast, begin to fill up the rivers and streams of your internal environment with alkalinity, ridding yourself of acids and toxins that have been there for years. Connect to life and a higher level of consciousness! It is an incredible feeling. Realize that as you begin the cycle there is a level of detoxification that goes on! But it can be minimized by your commitment to go home, BACK TO THE HOUSE OF HEALTH!!!

At home is where you will find energy, vitality, and a better quantity and quality of life. It is a wonderful place to be. Come along and join us! Become a beacon of light and hope for the world. It is desperately needed in this time of many challenges. We need more people who are plugging themselves into life to help share this message of hope.

This is a program and a lifestyle for the rest of your life, this is not for the moment. People know how they feel when they have been on the program and slack off for a day and feel lousy for that day. Your body tells you! When you know and experience how good you feel on the product, you can see the significance of sharing this with others. You will make it a must to share this with those you love because it is sort of a drag to feel so great and be around all these miserable people who are sick and tired. You are the light that people can't shut you off. People are attracted to your energy and they want it too.

Can anyone help. I was always under the impression that algae was a good source of B vits and generally a positive supplement to take. Then I heard that Dr Robert Young (Supergreens) doesn't advocate algae in any form as it grows on stagnant waters (anything from stagnant source not good). It kind of made sense, but goes against all the positive literature I've read. Does anyone have a view on this. I'd like to know more.
Thanks.

InnerLight Foundational Four
SuperGreens, Prime pH , BioLight & SuperSoy Sprouts

SuperGreens
Easily assimilated organic ingredients that alkalize, energize, and nourish your cells as they balance your body’s pH level. Highly processed and
hard–to-digest foods create a higher level of acid than your body needs. SuperGreen’s natural plant ingredients help neutralize this acid and pull
the body and tissue balance back to its ideal, more alkaline state.

Prime pH
Helps your body absorb the oxygen from water more easily. Also contributes to the neutralizing effects of InnerLight’s alkalizing products such as the SuperGreens. Not only does the body need adequate water to maintain a healthy level of hydration, it requires a good amount of oxygen for optimal cell performance. Prime pH releases the oxygen molecules within water for easier absorption by the body.

BioLight
Boosts overall energy. Allows you to experience increased levels of alertness, concentration, stamina, and drive. Natural co-enzyme NADP. NADP is a molecule required by cells for obtaining energy; the more energy a cell needs, the more NADP it requires. The exclusive colloidalized form of NADP is electrically attracted to each cell to provide a direct, supplemental source of cellular vitality.

SuperSoy Sprouts
On-going studies reveal soy to be a natural way to balance hormone activity, detoxify the blood, help the body ward off infection and help inhibit cancer-promoting enzymes. Organic sprouted soy.

Directions:
1/3-1/2 teaspoon of SuperGreens per liter. Build up to 1 teaspoon.
Can put lemon or lime in with your greens.
Start out light and add greens according to taste.
10-15 drops of the Prime pH in with the water and greens.
The best water to use is distilled. This is neutrally based water.
BioLight 5 drops under the tongue 3 to 5 x’s a day.
SuperSoy can place a scoop in with your greens or you can place a scoop directly in your mouth.

Greetings,

Dr. Gabriel Cousens M.D., M.D. (H), diplomate in Ayurveda, considered by many to be the leading holistic M.D. in the U.S. and the world explains in his latest book “Rainbow Green Live Food Cuisine” how Dr. Young’s work has influenced his own. For those of you who may not be familiar with Dr. Cousens, he is the worlds foremost live-food medical doctor, guru and author of several books including Conscious Eating, Spiritual Nutrition and The Rainbow Diet, and Depression Free for Life. He is the Director of the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center in Patagonia, Arizona, home of the Tree of Life Café.

Following is a quote from Pages I & II:

“The spark of the idea for this book was furnished by Robert O. Young, Ph.D., D.Sc., in his book “Sick and Tired”. He made the point, based on a great deal of microscope dark-field and dry-field research, that a diet low in fungus and mycotoxins (toxins that are produced by fungus) is best for overall health. I have a better appreciation of Robert Young’s work since studying pleomorphic science for the last 10 years. His insight and understanding into this whole process enables us to use pleomorphic theory in a practical way to understand our health. No one else has put this information together like Robert Young. The information from “Sick and Tired” has a heavy influence throughout the initial chapters of this book. For this I want to express my gratitude, appreciation and acknowledgement.”

“In my usual scientific way, I felt that before I even shared these ideas with anyone else, I needed to personally explore this diet. Most of my staff followed me on this diet and three months later most had experienced very significant positive changes in their energy levels and sense of well- being. I began to explore this diet with clients who were suffering from mycotoxicosis. Again, much to my surprise, people who were able to follow this diet for a period of 3 months showed remarkable positive changes in their blood picture, as well as in the quality of their health and energy.”
Rejuvenating Recipes

AsparaZincado Soup
15 minutes to prepare. Serves 3-5. This great soup is rich in zinc and has a rich tomatoeee flavor.
12 stalks medium asparagus (or 17 thin stalks)
1 avocado
5-6 tomatoes
1 cup fresh parsley
3-5 sun-dried tomatoes (bottled in olive oil)
¼cup dried onion
4 cloves fresh garlic
1 red bell pepper
Bragg Liquid Aminos to taste
1-2 Spice Hunter ’s Herbes de Provence
2 tsp. Spice Hunter Deliciously Dill
2 lemons or limes, cut in thin slices

Trim and dice the tips from the asparagus and set aside for a garnish. In a food processor or Vita-Mix blend the asparagus and red tomatoes, parsley, dried tomatoes, spices, garlic, onion and red bell pepper. Then blend the avocado until soup is smooth and creamy. Warm in an electric skillet and garnish with lemon or lime slices on top. Season with Bragg ’s to taste or serve cold in the summertime. Sprinkle diced asparagus tips on top just before serving. Yummy!

AvoRado Kid Super Green Shake
This is by far Dr. Young and Shelley ’s favorite cool green shake, and they enjoy it for breakfast, lunch and dinner-or anytime they want a snack. It ’s a great way to get concentrated nutrition and chlorophyll of green powder and soy sprouts powder. The cucumber and lime cool the body, and the essential fats in the avocado and soy sprouts make this shake one that you can burn on for many hours. Serves 1.
1 avocado
½English cucumber
1 tomatillo
1 lime (peeled)
2 cups fresh spinach
2 scoops soy sprouts powder
1 scoop SuperGreens
1 pkg. stevia (Shelley recommends Sweet Leaf With Fiber)
6-8 ice cubes

Blend on high speed to a thick, smooth consistency. Serve immediately.

Variations:
Add coconut milk or fresh almond milk for a cremiwer shake
Substitute a grapefruit or lemon for the lime for a different taste.
Add 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
Add some seasonings that are bottled in oil (without alcohol) for a new exciting twist of flavor.
In the summer, freeze AvoRado Kid into pops for a cool frozen treat.

Broccoli/Cauliflower Soup
1-2 cups broccoli, chopped
1-2 cups cauliflower, chopped
1 cup cucumber juice or veggie broth
1 avocado ( off cleanse can use ½cup soaked almonds)
1 clove garlic, minced
¼tsp. Curry powder
1 Tbs. lemon or lime juice
1 Tbs. Braggs Liquid Aminos
½tsp. Real Salt

In a food processor or blender, combine the almonds with the cucumber juice or broth, and garlic. Blend well. With machine still running, add the broccoli and cauliflower and blend until smooth. Lastly blend in seasonings and lemon/lime juice, Bragg Aminos and salt. Add more broth or water to desired consistency.
Variation: Use this recipe for salad dressing.

Celery Soup
4-5 stalks of celery (including leaves if fresh)
3 cups pure water
2 Tbs yeast-free instant vegetable broth

Cook celery until tenderized. Add water and broth mix. Pour all into blender. Blend 15-29 seconds. Reheat and serve. Use flax seed oil, Bragg liquid Aminos, and cayenne pepper to taste.

Celery/Cauliflower Soup

1 onion peeled and chopped
1 whole head of celery, trimmed & chopped
(save some celery leaves for garnish)
1 head cauliflower, trimmed and chopped

1 Tbs. Olive or Udo ’s Oil
1-2 quarts vegetable stock
½-1 quarts almond milk
salt, pepper to taste
use seasonings of choice to taste

1. Steam-fry the onion in a little water in a large soup pan for about 5 minutes without browning. Pulse-chop the celery and cauliflower in the food processor until finely chopped.
2. Add the celery and cauliflower mix to the pan and warm until tender. Add the vegetable stock, almond milk and simmer for about 15-30 minutes, or you can leave this raw and not cook at all.
3. Puree the soup mixture in a blender or food processor until smooth texture is achieved. Season with salt and other seasonings of choice. Serve warm or cold.

Chunkie Veggie Soup

2 1/2 cups fresh carrot juice
1 avocado
6-8 celery stalks
2 carrots
1 summer squash
small bunch of arugula
spice options: parsley, basil, coriander

For broth, blend carrot juice, avocado and 3-4 celery stalks. Grate squash and carrots and celery, adding finely chopped arugula and other fresh green spices last. Serve in a bowl or cup; decorate with fresh herbs.

Clean and Simple Soup
1 cucumber, cubed
1 avocado, cubed
mint (optional)

Place ingredients in food processor with S blade. Mix until almost smooth. Serve garnished with mint leaf.

Creamy or Crunchy Broccoli Soup
15 minutes to prepare. This high-protein soup is for broccoli lovers!

2 cups vegetable stock or water
3-4 cups broccoli, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
2 red or yellow onions, chopped
1 avocado
1-2 stalks celery, cut in large pieces
braggs liquid amino to taste
cumin and ginger to taste

1. In an electric skillet, warm 2 cups of water or stock, keeping the temperature at or below 118 (finger test). Add the chopped broccoli and warm for 5 minutes.
2. In a blender, puree the warmed broccoli, bell pepper, onion, avocado, and celery, thinning with additional water if necessary to achieve the desired consistency. If desired, save the broccoli stalks, peeling off the tough outer skin; process them in a food processor until they are small chunks, and add to the soup just before serving to add crunch!
3. Serve warm, flavoring with bragg ’s, fresh ginger, cumin or any other spices you like. Add a slice of lemon on top to garnish.

Creamy Tomato Soup
4 Roma tomatoes
2 green onion tips (about 1 inch of white/light green part)
¼green pepper
1 cup vegetable broth
1 avocado
1 teasppon Real Salt
pepper to taste.

Liquefy in blender. Heat just to warm.

Creamy Vegetable Soup
Be sure to blend it thoroughly ( I think blender is best) so you get a rich, even, smooth, creamy texture.

1 cup onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 large leeks, chopped
3 celery stalks, chopped
2 cups shredded green cabbage
½lb asparagus, cut small
(use after cleanse1 pkg. soft FRESH tofu)
4 cups vegetable broth
2 tsp dried dill, 2 tsp dried basil, 1 tsp dried oregano
Real Salt and pepper to taste

In a skillet, steam-fry the onions and garlic for a few minutes. Add cabbage, celery and asparagus. Transfer to a large pot, add the leeks and vegetable broth. Stir in the parsley, dill, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Simmer just to brighten veggies. Let cool a bit, (the puree in a blender or food processor two cups at a time with some of the tofu), and return to another pot. Heat soup, not to exceed 118, and serve.

Gazpacho

4 cups fresh tomato juice (you make)
½cup cucumber, chopped
¼cup green bell pepper, chopped
¼cup celery, finely chopped
1 Tbs. Olive Oil
½tsp. Pepper
½tsp. Basil
½tsp. Garlic, minced

Combine all ingredients. Cover and chill overnight.

French Gourmet Puree
Serves 6.
1 avocado
2 stalks celery
1 head Romaine lettuce
1 small tomato
1 handful spinach
1 small cucumber, peeled
2 cloves garlic
1/3 onion
2 tablespoons olive oil
Herbes de Provence
Sprouts (optional)

Puree all vegetables with a Green Star/Green Power juicer with a blank blade for pureeing, doing the onion last. Mix in olive oil, and Herbes du Provence to taste. Serve with sprouts sprinkled on top.

Green Gazpacho Two Ways
Serves 4-6 people. Wonderful alkaline soup, packed with chlorophyll.

2 avocados
2 green bell pepper
6 roma tomatoes
11/2 large English cucumbers (or 2 average size)
1 head Romaine lettuce
½red onion
3 cloves garlic
¼cup fresh lemon juice
¼teaspoon Real Salt
2 tablespoons loive oil
11/2 teaspoons basil
½teaspoon dill
¼teaspoon oregano
1/8 teaspoon sage powder

Chop all vegetables. Mix avocado, lemon juice and garlic in food processor (with S blade), until smooth and empty into bowl. Process tomatoes and romaine until smooth, and add to bowl. Pulse peppers, cucumbers and onion until chunky (approximately 1/8-1/4 inch) and empty into bowl. Mix well with salt and olive oil, and herbs if desired.

Green Power Coctail
4 cups sprouts
4 cups green tops
1 cup kale
1 cup beets
½wheat grass

Green Raw Soup
This is wonderfully alkalizing soup that I prefer served cold in the summer months and warmed in the winter months. It ’s energizing and easy to digest.
1-2 avocados
1-2 cucumbers, peeled and seeded
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded
½yellow onion, diced
juice of ½lemon
1-2 cups light vegetable stock or water
3 cloves roasted garlic
1 Tbs. fresh cilantro
1 Tbs. fresh parsley
1 carrot, finely diced

Puree all ingredients (except onions and carrots) in a food processor or Vita Mix. Add more or less water to desired consistency. Add onions and raw crunch bits at the end for a garnish. Yum!

Healing Soup
This soup is especially southing when tired, stressed or sick with cold flu and is very anti-fungal.

2-3 whole garlic cloves
1 large onion
3 Tbs yeast-free instant vegetable broth
2-3 quarts water or veggie broth
1 cucumber
(optional: carrots, cabbage, celery and any other veggie desired)
2 Tbs fresh cilantro
2 tsp frsh grated ginger
Real Salt to taste

Chop and crush garlic cloves into small diced pieces and lightly steam-fry. Set aside. Put whole onion in water in a deep pan, simmer until onion is transparent (approx. 1 hour). Add garlic and yeast-free instant veggie broth. Slice cucumber ( and optional veggies) and add to soup. Simmer 10-15 minutes. Add fresh ginger, cilantro and Real Salt to taste.

Minty Mock Malt
½English cucumber
juice of 1 lime & juice of 1 grapefruit
1 avocado
1 cup raw spinach
½can coconut milk
1 teaspoon SuperGreens
2 teaspoons Super Soy Sprouts
8-10 drops Prime pH
2-4 springs for fresh mint leaves or ½teaspoon mint flavoring (no alcohol)
14 ice cubes

Combine all ingredients and blend to desired consistency.
Variation: Leave out the ice cubes, and freeze malt into pops.
Mock Split-Pea Soup

2 carrots, shaved
2 celery stalks, cut as desired
6 sprigs of parsley
1 onion, chopped
4 cups water

2 cups crisp-steamed green beans
1 ½cups crisp-steamed asparagus
dash of mace
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. Vegetized or Real Salt

Chop all vegetable ingredients in food processor and add to 4 cups of water or
Vegetable stock in a soup pot. Lightly simmer until vegetables are just softened-about 8-10 minutes-then out contents into a blender and thoroughly puree until thick, creamy texture is achieved. Add salt and seasonings. Serve warm. Optional seasoning suggestions include ½tsp. Cumin, ½tsp. Dill, ½tsp. Herbs de provence, and a quirt or two of Braggs.

Popeye Soup
10 minutes to prepare. This is a wonderful alkalizing soup because of the cucumbers and greens. Serve warm with a fresh tortilla for dipping.

1 avocado
1 cup water or vegetable stock
2 cucumbers, unwaxed
2 green onions
1 clove garlic
1/3 red bell pepper
1 cup fresh raw spinach
Bragg Liquid Aminos or Real Salt to taste
Mid Eastern Spices (Spice Hunter ’s Garam Masala,
½-1 tsp., Curry Seasoning, ½-1 tsp., and Zip, ½tsp.)
fresh lime juice to taste

In a Vita- Mix or a blender, add the avocado and half of the water or stock and puree, then add the rest of the ingredients one at a time, blending to desired thickness and thinning with the remaining water if desired. Add Braggs Amino ’s or Real Salt to taste, and flavor with spices and lime juice to your desire. You might add a couple of minced sun-dried tomatoes too! Experiment!

Soothing Cooling Tomato Soup
Serves 2.

6 medium tomatoes, juiced and strained (pour through a fine mesh strainer or a nylon knee-high stocking)
½avocado
¾cup fresh coconut water (make sure this is fresh, taken from a coconut.)
1 cucumber, juiced
Real Salt to taste
Stevia (optional)

Blend until smooth. For a sweeter soup add stevia to taste.

Vegetable Minestrone Soup

1 small cabbage
1 onion
1 red bell pepper
2 carrots
2 celery
1 zucchini
1 yellow squash

Cut vegetables as preferred. Cover carrots and celery with water in soup pot. Cook gently until they just begin to “give ”, then add remaining ingredients. Do not overcook.

Serve hot with flax seed oil, Bragg Liquid Aminos and cayenne pepper to taste.

The Raw Perfection Morning Monster Juice
1 bunch of kale
1 whole head of celery
1 lemon
1 handful of spinach leaves
1 avocado
1 teaspoon SuperGreens
1 chili pepper
Put kale, celery and lemon through juicer,
Then combine in blender with remaining ingredients.

This juice is great when you need something that ’s going to stick with you until mid-day; the fat will help you feel full. Besides providing the fat, the avocado is the key to the creaminess of this smoothie.

Very Veggie Shake
1 cup distilled water
¼cup flax seed oil or olive oil
2 small cucumbers. Sliced
1 cup spinach
1/3 head Romaine lettuce
½cup broccoli
¼cup cilantro
¼cup parsley
2 stalks celery, cut into pieces
1/8 cup fresh mint leaves (or teaspoon dry)
2 medium limes (or 1 lemon)
1/8 cup fresh dill (optional)

Place water in a blender then add oil. Turn blender on low speed and add remaining ingredients one at a time. When everything is chopped up, turn blender to high speed until you get a beautiful smooth and creamy shake.
